    The Betty Queen Center is available for walking during January through April, 2018 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:45 AM - 8:00 AM. These are the only times the gym is available for walking during these Winter and Spring months; however, these hours are subject to change.

  2. Billiards Club

    Are you aged 21 or older and love playing billiards, but have no place to play? Come join the Cue Ball Billiards Club at the Betty Queen Center. The Teen Center is open most weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The cost is just $10 for membership for January through April 2018. Play pool and spend time socializing with others who love the game. Hey ladies...this club is NOT just for men! Everyone is welcome. Why not give it a try?

  3. Sunday Billiards

    Billiards fans...you can now come to the Betty Queen Center on Sundays and play pool in the Teen Center from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. These Sunday Billiards cost $2 each time you attend and are open to the general public ages 21 and older, as well as current Club members.

  4. Cardio Pump 'n Core Workout

    Start your mornings with MargaretAnne and her Cardio Pump ‘n Core Workout. You don’t need to spend hours sweating on a treadmill and lifting weights at the gym to reap the benefits of exercise. MargaretAnne will layer cardio fat-burning moves, sculpting, core focused exercises, weights and resistance training to improve your muscle tone, strength, and flexibility. No two classes are the same. Everyone is welcome ~ first-timers wanting to start an exercise routine to the advanced fitness person wanting to add to their daily exercise routine. MargaretAnne will make sure you sweat away those calories with a great workout. Join her for an hour of fitness fun and don’t forget to bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and towel. If you can’t commit to a full session, take as many classes as you’d like for the $8 drop in rate per class. There will be no class on January 12th, January 15th, and February 19th.

    Are you ready to take one simple step that is sure to enhance your quality of life? This class is for the new and returning student, the young, and the young at heart. It’s a great way to start your morning and a great place to laugh and enjoy as you move through different yoga postures. We will challenge you as well as encourage you in this class for those who want a yoga experience more than one day a week. Donya Bauer, MA, E-RYT 500, teaches you to honor your body and do only what you know your body is ready to do. As you move through this class, your balance, strength, and flexibility will improve and you will discover a beautiful sense of relaxation. Student input is always welcome and individual attention is paramount. Bring a yoga mat to class.

  6. Tiny Tales Gym Time

    Are you looking for some place to take the little ones to play during the cold winter months? Bring them to the Betty Queen Center for some indoor fun and Gym Time. This program allows children age 5 and under lots to do to burn off all that extra energy. Parents make this program possible by supervising their children while socializing with other adults. The program leader for Tiny Tales Gym Time is Heather Jones and she will have lots of fun activities set up in the gym for everyone. No class on April 2nd.

  7. Louisa Pickelball

    Pickleball is the fastest growing adult sport in the country and LCPRT is your place for Everything Pickleball! Played on a badminton court with the net dropped to 34 inches, the sport encompasses elements of tennis, racquetball, and ping pong. This program is open to adults~of any age! Limited equipment is available at no charge to help as you are introduced to the sport. We offer a drop-in rate of $2 each time you come to play or you can buy a punch pass good for 12 visits for only $20. Punch passes can only be purchased weekdays at the Betty Queen Center. Join us and discover this fun sport for yourself.

  8. Holiday Cookie Decorating

    HappyValentine’s Day...and everyone loves a decorated sugar cookie ~ Hearts, Cupids, Flowers ~ it doesn’t really matter what the shape is; it’s the homemade decorations that make them special. In this class, instructor Sharon Munyak, owner of Hobby Hill Farm and her staff, will share their recipe for their Basic Sugar Cookie, Icing, and Decorating Tips. Do you need to buy all those tips, bags, and colors to learn how to decorate? NOPE! Get started with all the basics and soon you will be able to WOW your family and friends with your decorating skills. Included in the registration fee is an activity kit of basic colors, decorator tips, and some yummy cookies (a $10 value). The registration deadline is January 31st, but we are expecting a good turnout for this class, so be sure to register early.

    Aikido is an excellent confidence booster for children, as it eliminates the need for them to compete or compare themselves to their peers. This program will help your child focus and improve their overall well-being; while also teaching discipline, respect, and empathy for others. as participants continue in the class, they will obtain belts based on the level they achieve. Open to children ages 6 through 12, Aikido is an on-going program which will continue throughout the year. Instructor Jeff martin has over 19 years of experience and received his Shidoin certificate in 2014. Discounts will be given to families with 3 or more members enrolled as well as those only able to attend once a week. February 21st, March 26th and March 28th will be inclement weather make-up dates if needed. Discounts: 3rd family member half price & $31 attending once a week.

Aikido affords one the stability to focus on mental and physical aspects of your life which will, in turn, improve your personal and professional commitments and achievements. Open to ages 13 and older, Aikido is an on-going program which continues throughout the year and focuses on discipline, teaching participants to respect and show empathy to others.
